Residents and staff at Chestnut Gardens care home, in Purley could not wait to welcome back their Tai Chi Instructor from his holiday and looked forward to the gentle exercises and calming influence he has on them.

General Manager Gayane Selimyan said: “We always encourage our residents to keep active and with his summer break finished it was great opportunity for our residents to be involved in these low impact form of exercise, it really does help to concentrate the balance of the body providing great benefits to mental and physical health.
