Chiquita Bananas have partnered with Lauren Mahon for Breast Cancer Awareness month

Chiquita Bananas has today announced its partnership with online community GirlvsCancer on a new ‘tit-tee’ bananas design in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Lauren Mahon, founder of Girl Vs Cancer, is one of the hosts of chart topping podcast “You Me and the Big C.”

Along with co-hosts Deborah James, and Rachael Bland, Mahon has raised awareness of cancer via the podcast – using it to discuss issues that affect cancer sufferers.

BBC presenter Rachael Bland died last month, 48 hours after announcing she had “days to live” following her breast cancer diagnosis.

In 2017, Mahon developed her ‘tit tee’ range to raise awareness and generate donations for several cancer charities including Coppafeel!, Trekstock, Future Dreams and Look Good Feel Better.

Featuring two bananas strategically cupping each breast in Chiquita’s bold yellow and blue hues, the new design joins GirlvsCancer’s current range of boyfriend-fit t-shirts dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients and survivors.

The collection, which ranges from bold euphemisms emblazoned across the chest to more visual moftis including bumblebees, fried eggs and milk jugs, will be sold to raise awareness for the annual international health campaign, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 100% of the sales will be donated to Girl vs Cancer’s partner charities including: Coppafeel, Trekstock, Future Dreams and Look Good Feel Better.

Hitting the Girl Vs Cancer online store (https://girlvscancer.co.uk/shop/) on 1st October, the tshirts will retail for £28.00. Modelled in the pictures by women who have both survived breast cancer, and who are still fighting the disease, the t-shirts will be available in sizes S, M and L.
