Chiswick House & Gardens Trust is delighted to announce its 2026 Summer Events Programme, offering a dynamic season of outdoor theatre, live music, family-friendly activities, and cultural experiences set within the stunning historic landscape of Chiswick House & Gardens.
Running from June through September, this year’s programme invites visitors of all ages to explore, unwind, and connect with nature and heritage in one of London’s most beautiful green spaces. With an emphasis on creativity, wellbeing, and community, the summer line-up promises something for everyone.
Highlights of the 2026 Summer Season include:
Giffords Circus Returns: The season opens with the much-anticipated return of Giffords Circus, running from Wednesday 21 May – Sunday 7 June, bringing its new show ‘Waterfield’ to Chiswick House & Gardens. Inspired by the English countryside, this magical, village-green-style circus blends storytelling, music, and performance offering a joyful, immersive experience for audiences of all ages.
Ben & Jerry’s Sundaes In The Park Festival: Following last year’s sell out, Sundaes In The Park is back on Saturday 13 June at Chiswick House & Gardens. Join us for another seriously sweet day of music, ice cream and good vibes. Expect live performances across multiple stages, with DJs, cabaret and surprise moments throughout the day.
Action Arena Inflatable Assault Course: The UK’s biggest touring inflatable assault course returns to the Gardens this summer, taking over the Walled Garden with two exciting courses. With a Mini course for younger adventurers and an XXL course for thrill-seekers, there’s fun for the whole family.
Open-Air Theatre in a Historic Setting: A vibrant programme of outdoor theatre includes William Shakespeare’s Othello on Monday 30 June by The Lord Chamberlain’s Men, the playful Love’s Labour’s Lost in July, and a family-friendly production of The Tale of Peter Rabbit in August, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Gardens.
Markets: London’s favourite vintage fair, Lazy Flea, returns monthly, offering unique homeware, stylish clothing, and beautiful jewellery for vintage enthusiasts. The ever-popular Duck Pond Market also takes place each month, bringing together independent traders, artisan food, and handcrafted goods in a lively, community-focused atmosphere.
Opportunities to Give Back: Two free volunteering sessions invite visitors to get hands-on in the Gardens alongside the Trust’s expert team. Gardening Together takes place on Tuesday 27 May during half-term, welcoming families and individuals alike, while Rise & Shine on Monday 2 June offers a peaceful hour of gardening before the day begins—no regular commitment required.
“We’re thrilled to welcome visitors back for another unforgettable summer at Chiswick House & Gardens,” said Xanthe Arvanitakis, Director at Chiswick House & Gardens Trust. “Our programme brings people together through culture, creativity, and nature. All profits goes back towards looking after these historic green spaces, keeping it a place for everyone, every day – thank you!”
Set within 65 acres of beautiful greenery, the Trust continues its mission to conserve this historic site while making it accessible and engaging for all.
