City Entrepreneur Yazz Nasir helps raise over £70,000 for the Amir Khan Foundation by taking part in a star studded charity boxing event at Londons York Hall

C.E.O of Ghost Recordz, Yazz Nasir, was amongst well-known personalities who took part in a charity boxing event held in London’s very well-known York Hall in Bethnal Green. The event was organised by former unified light-welterweight world champion Amir Khan.

The event was broadcast to a worldwide audience live on YouTube and was a huge success with thousands of pounds being donated in aid of The Amir Khan Foundation. The event itself hosted over one thousand guests and some very well-known influencers were also in attendance.  Personalities such as Adam Saleh, Fousey, Slim & Nazizi were all amongst fighters on this very unforgettable night.

While some people would take the chance to wrap themselves in cotton wool and just be spectators, Yazz saw this as an opportunity to help those in need by raising much needed funds for those most in need and chose to put himself firmly in the firing line when taking part in this charity boxing event.

Yazz was one of a number of familiar faces taking part at the event which had built a big interest via social media. Leading up to the fight, Yazz and his opponent, Sandflames Restaurant owner Fahad Bhatti, were said to have both been involved in a spat. However, this was later denied by both fighters claiming it was all a little bit of fun.

Yazz won the fight by T.K.O against Fahad Bhatti from Finchley, London. Nasir and Bhatti both claimed after the fight that it was all for a good cause and were happy to be involved in such an amazing event in which thousands of pounds was raised. Proving that by choosing to fight for a good cause, this made it all worth it.

As well as the victory for Yazz over Bhatti, there were also victories for Adam Saleh over Marcus Brown with Slim defeating fellow Youtuber Fousey.

Amir Khan and wife Faryal Makhdoom were both present throughout the event and watched on with the remaining spectators inside The York Hall.

Sultan Malik of Touch Gloves Boxing trained Yazz in preparation for the contest. The vigorous training and sparring sessions for 12 weeks by Malik made sure Yazz was in peak condition for fight night.

After his own triumph on the night, an ecstatic Yazz said; “Tonight has just been the most fantastic occasion. The atmosphere was electric and it’s so nice to see so many people turn out in support of their friends, families and colleagues.”

“I would like to thank everyone who came along in support of tonight’s event, not forgetting of course the fighters whose efforts have made this evening such an amazing success.”

“ The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and it’s incredible to see so many people turn out to support us , TOGETHER we helped raise so much money for the AK Foundation
