Commercial courier operation is London-bound
Crown Couriers has announced the opening of a dedicated London-based office to service customers in and around the city while also creating new positions for self-employed drivers in the region.
With a central UK-based control centre servicing its nationwide operation, the commercial courier has invested in a new London space to enable a stronger network and greater coverage to surrounding customers. The priority to deliver same-day and urgent deliveries is significantly on the rise.
Based at the grounds of London Heathrow, this positions the courier service in a prime location to support an expected increase in future footfall and general enquiries relating to the supply chain.
Crown Couriers is already supporting the airport by providing same day deliveries for its baggage repatriation service.
Responsible for the new London office will be Tony Clements, Area Sales Manager, along with a customer service team. The operations staff at headquarters will also offer full support, virtually, for the new southern-base.
As part of its expansion into the capital and to grow its driver network with many flexible working options available, Crown Couriers is also positively urging London-based, self-employed drivers to get in touch.
Managing Director and founder, Tim Seagers explains, “We’ve made the strategic decision to continue our investment and growth, as planned.
Having a London office is vital for this. With a dedicated team in the region, we can focus our resource more effectively and quickly to businesses in the area, for both new and existing clients.
This is a very exciting but important move for us.”
Drivers who can support with baggage repatriation work and those looking for courier work in London and around Heathrow areas should apply online.
