Competition: London children invited to design their dream cake

Children across London are being invited to let their imaginations run wild as part of a new cake design competition from Cake Box.

The Little Bakers Awards 2026 challenges children aged four to 11 to create their ultimate celebration cake, with the winning design brought to life by Cake Box’s expert bakers.

Young cake creators can collect a Little Bakers design sheet from any London Cake Box store, or download one from the Cake Box website, before drawing and decorating their dream creation.

The winner will see their design transformed into a real Cake Box cake, take part in a cake decorating experience, meet the team and receive a party bundle to enjoy with friends and family.

The winner will be announced in September, alongside five regional runners-up representing Scotland, Ireland, Wales, the Midlands and England. The lucky runners-up will also receive a party bundle to celebrate their designs.

How to enter:

Collect a design sheet in-store at any London Cake Box or download it from the Cakebox website here.
Create a dream cake design. The more imaginative, the better.
Return the completed sheet to their local Cake Box store by 31 August 2026.
Sukh Chamdal, Cake Box’s CEO, said: “Some of the best cake ideas come from children, because they are never afraid to be bold, colourful or completely unexpected. We want our Little Bakers to let their imaginations run wild and create the cake they would most love to see in a Cake Box window. We cannot wait to see the designs that come through every London Cake Box door and bring one talented young baker’s creation to life.”
