It has been another busy year of sold-out shows for the Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club, which has travelled up and down the country and left only good vibes and happy memories in its wake. There is still time for this one last celebration of soulful sounds and funky grooves and it goes down at The Kentish Town Forum.

This venerated venue boasts a cauldron-like dance floor with a balcony overlooking the action. It’s a legendary spot that has hosted everyone from Oasis to Prince over the years, with a powerful sound system and sensory lighting rigs that will only add to the atmosphere.

This care-free night of celebration, dancing and love is soundtracked by BBC 6 Music host Craig Charles, who is an undeniable don when it comes to funk and soul. His tasteful selections span the old, the new and everything in between. On NYE he is sure to dig extra deep.

Alongside him will be the full Alabama 3 band. Best known for their iconic single ‘Woke Up This Morning’ which opened up every episode of The Sopranos, the British group mix up country, blues, and acid house with real musical skill and party spirit. Mr Bruce – former frontman of seminal British festival act The Correspondents – also brings his big bag of musical tricks and Sir Funk serves up his dazzling disco and infectious basslines to complete the party.
