DE-CLUTTER YOUR WARDROBE AND REFRESH YOUR STYLE AT BRENT CROSS

North London shoppers are being encouraged to recycle before they refresh their wardrobes this season as Brent Cross announces it will host an Autumn fashion and beauty event with a difference.

‘De-clutter to Refresh’ takes place on the 12th and 13th October and is asking shoppers to donate their pre-loved clothes to local charity, TRAID, who will be in the centre accepting donation bags to ensure less clothing goes to landfill. Volunteers will be accepting washed and pressed garments and the first 100 customers to donate will receive a £5 gift voucher to spend in the centre.

TRAID is a charity working to stop clothes from being thrown away. They turn clothes waste into funds and resources to reduce the environmental and social impacts of our clothes.

After handing in their old clothes, shoppers can go and explore the ‘De-clutter to Refresh’ area, where they’ll get the chance to meet three professional stylists who are on hand giving out free, expert advice on giving their old wardrobe new love and introducing them to the capsule concept.

Inspired by the Marie Kondo phenomenon, the stylists have used only 25 items to create 100 brand new A/W 19 looks. The outfits will be displayed in four giant wardrobe pods, giving shoppers a chance to browse and get inspired this season’s trends.

Stylists Natalie Robinson, Lauren Jobling, and Hélène Sivilia each have their own unique approach to fashion. With Natalie being the owner of a Personal Styling company and incredibly popular on Instagram, Lauren having worked on editorial shoots for publications such as DIVA Magazine, and Hélène’s French flair, customers are guaranteed the very best advice on how to completely turn around their wardrobe.

As well as four fashion pods, the stylists have also helped to create the must-have beauty products and shoppers can redeem a free beauty session by downloading the Brent Cross PLUS App.
