De Padova “Takes a Seat” at the inaugural I-MADE Exhibition at Saatchi Gallery

This London Design Festival, De Padova will exhibit two iconic designs at the inaugural edition of I-MADE curated by Giulio Cappellini. Presented in Chelsea’s iconic Saatchi Gallery, I-MADE is London’s first exhibition solely dedicated to Italian design and manufacture.

The satellite showcase Take a Seat pays homage to key figures who have shaped the history of chair design. The designs on show include De Padova’s timeless Louisiana designed by Vico Magistretti and the re-edition of the iconic 1960s Silvia armchair designed by Archivio Storico Bonacina 1889 and Paolo Tilche.

As part of I-MADE’s series of design talks and workshops, Roberto Gavazzi Boffi | DePadova CEO will take to the stage for a conversation aboutThe industry of design in Italy on Friday 20th September at 10amGavazzi joins an exceptional line up of speakers including Giulio Cappellini (designer and I-MADE curator), Patricia Urquiola (architect and designer), Patrizia Moroso (creative director Moroso) and Giulia Molteni (marketing & communications Molteni&C).

De Padova’s recently opened Chelsea showroom will also host a curated exhibition of the company’s latest furniture releases. This year highlights the new Edizioni De Padova: a collection of re-issued design classics by the world’s most iconic designers, including Paul McCobb’s Wingback chair, Paolo Tilche’s Anna lamp and Jens Risom’s Conneticut table.
