Dead Ringer actor Gary Webster tells all in candid chat - London TV

Dead Ringer actor Gary Webster tells all in candid chat

Famed actor Gary Webster sat down with us to discuss his acting career in a candid chat!

Q. Gary, tell our readers who is Gary Webster?

Gary Webster is from London and been acting for 30 years. Famous for role of Ray Daley in Minder 20 odd years ago. British Soap Award winner in 2005. Performed major roles including Macbeth in the West end and around the country.

Q. How does acting make you feel?

Acting makes me feel for one brief moment that if I get it right it means I can maybe touch another human being into being moved emotionally and make them think. Life like acting is about moments and if you can have a few along the way then great. I have but if only I could remember them!

Q. You appear in Dead Ringer – why was this film important for you?

I was very happy and excited to work on Dead Ringer. Any role means a lot so I wanted to do the best Job I could. There are no small parts…only small actors.

Q. You worked under Richard Colton’s direction – how is he has a director?

Working with Amar and Richard again is always a pleasure. I feel I have been with them from their infancy and I’m incredibly proud of their success and continued progress. They think out of the box which I love and I predict they will be a major player in the UK film industry within 3 years…and hopefully the film that wins them the BAFTA will be the one in which I play the lead!!

Q. Do you have any more projects lined up at present?

My next project is another Amarich prod called The Seven and also a new musical called Living The Dream. I guarantee there will be some fantastic moments in both. G
