Since bursting onto the scene in the creative days of lockdown with the debut EP THE DELLA VARIANT, 20-year-old Daniella Lubasu has marked herself out as a brilliant young creative of the lo-fi alt-pop world.

Tracks such as “AHH!” and “i want, doesn’t get”, self-produced on GarageBand, signalled her as a key young creator, with siblings on backing vocals and final mixes by Nathan Boddy (Nilüfer Yanya, PinkPantheress, Celeste).

Daniella’s beginnings on TikTok have translated into real-world moments, sharpening her live craft blending Manchester indie inheritance with the upbeat rhythms of her Congolese roots, on support slots for Wallice, beabadoobee, spill tab and The Wombats.
