Detectives investigating the death of a man in Camberwell have named the victim.
Whilst we await formal identification, detectives can confirm the deceased is 23-year-old Sidique Kamara.
Police were called at 19:21hrs on Wednesday, 1 August to Warham Street, SE5, to reports of three males suffering stab injuries.
Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
Despite the best efforts of medical staff Sidique died at the scene.
The man’s next-of-kin have been informed but formal identification awaits.
A post-mortem examination took place on Friday, 3 August at Greenwich Mortuary and gave cause of death as two stab wounds to the chest.
Two other males, aged 16 and 31, were also found suffering from stab injuries at the scene. They were taken to a south London hospital with non life-threatening injuries where they remain. Both are currently under arrest on suspicion of murder.
Officers arrested two men, aged 19 [A] and 18 [B], close to the scene on suspicion of murder have been released under investigation.
Detectives from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command are leading the investigation and are appealing for witnesses and information.
