Echo Vocal Ensemble present their unique festive offering, Chasing the Night, performing in King’s Place, London on 15 December.

The programme follows one winter solstice as it unfolds across the Northern Hemisphere, exploring the folklore, magic, and tradition that this particular moment in time brings across five continents. Alongside traditional carols, the programme features pieces by Poulenc, Britten and Rachmaninov, as well as vocal music from Canada and Iceland.

Under conductor Sarah Latto, the twelve singers of Echo Vocal Ensemble will take audiences on a musical journey through the depths of winter. The performance will also feature special guests Danny Sewagudde and Denis Muggaga, a duo internationally-renowned for their fresh interpretations of traditional Ugandan chants.
