ELLIE GOULDING, RONNIE WOOD AND ANNA FRIEL AMONG OTHER STARS ATTEND PETERSHAM NURSERIES X LILY LEWIS EXHIBITION OPENING, GALA DINNER AND AUCTION IN COVENT GARDEN

The event marks the opening of Lily Lewis’ new art collection, titled, ‘Safe Places’ which officially opens its doors to the public on the 18th of June 2021. Her latest work features actors and actresses from the silver screen of the 1930s and 1940s and aims to shine a light on the complicated and often silent suffering of domestic abuse victims, cases of which have risen by over 61% in 2020 during lockdown.

Guests arrived at the venue surrounded by installations of Lily’s new artwork for the drink’s reception. Champagne was served throughout the drinks reception while guests wandered around the art pieces.

In partnership with Petersham Nurseries and UK charity Refuge, multi-disciplinary artist Lily Lewis hosts a three-course fundraiser dinner followed by an auction with Lord Dalmeny Chairman of Sotheby’s. With all proceeds from the event to go to Refuge in order to help raise awareness on domestic abuse and help raise funds for domestic abuse victims, especially women and young children.
