England hero Jude spotted at Bellingham station

Ahead of England’s crucial semi-final match against Argentina tonight, Thameslink has released images that appear to show Jude Bellingham checking out their newest train station!

Fans were taken aback when they spotted the midfielder at their local train station and immediately started snapping selfies and asking for autographs. Although some were quick to point out that the England hero should really be the other side of the pond ready for tonight’s game.

Perhaps the star needed to see the station for himself seeing as Jude Bellingham train station is proving to bring some luck to the player – Jude has scored an average of two goals per match since the signs went up.

Thameslink Customer Services Director, Jenny Saunders, said: “It’s been great to see people’s reaction to Jude Bellingham station and seeing as England have won both of their matches since the signs went up, we’ve had no choice but to keep them in place! We’ve seen people come from far and wide to take pictures next to the signs, so of course the next best thing is seeing Jude himself at the station. The signs will remain in place for this evening’s game and hopefully beyond if things go our way tonight. Jude Bellingham station can also be seen from other parts of our network, with the name change in place on customer information screens across the GTR network.”
