Europe’s premier ceramics fair returns to Olympia
Following on from its 2023 success, Ceramic Art London returns to Olympia this May, showcasing the world’s best potters.
Running over three days from Friday 9 May to Sunday 11 May 2025, the fair will showcase 120 makers from around the world, drawing an expected 5,000 visitors to the West London venue.
Makers from all over Europe and as far afield as Canada and Korea will be on display, as well as local South and West London artists including the likes of Marek Pitera, Elizabeth Renton, Ian Thompson, Sue Gunn and more.
Simon Harrison, Director, Ceramic Art London, commented: “Last year, Ceramic Art London found a new home at Olympia West after outgrowing its previous venue in 2023. The move allowed the Fair — now in its 21st year — to welcome even more talented makers from across the UK and beyond. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with visitors and makers alike praising the venue’s light, bright, and spacious atmosphere.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome back Ceramic Art London after the success of its 2024 event and continue to be home to this celebration of high culture and art,” Nick Graham, Director – Exhibitions.
“Widely regarded as the capital’s hub for art, culture, and innovation, West London is the perfect stage to showcase creative excellence across emerging and global talent. We’re excited to continue this journey with Ceramic Art London and support the thriving ceramic art scene as we evolve into London’s newest destination for art and culture.”
New London-based exhibitor, Loraine Rutt, who has been applying to the fair for 13 years is delighted to be accepted to display her distinctive palm-sized porcelain globes at the show for the very first time. Her ceramics explore how maps influence one’s sense of place and belonging, with clay as the tangible connection to the earth’s surface. Her work currently sits in private and public collections worldwide including the Museum of London, the Maritime Museum and The Royal Geographical Society.
The show’s much-celebrated talks programme is free with entry, and this year will feature themed days curated by leading ceramic experts.
