Everyday wellness brand Lab Tonica opens at sustainability-focused concept store on Regent Street

Contemporary health and wellness brand Lab Tonica is opening its newest pop-up shop in a sustainable concept store at 88 Regent Street, which showcases six brands founded in the local area and which champion sustainability.

Lab Tonica, the contemporary wellness brand with collections of luxury herbal tea, aromatherapy balms and mists, was born in February 2021 and this autumn, is bringing contemporary wellbeing to the West End. With its balance of cutting edge packaging design and lifestyle led collections, and with all natural ingredients and sustainable methods, Lab Tonica aims to challenge dusty stereotypes of herbalism and shake up the wellness industry. The inaugural range features five carefully curated collections – Unplugged, Breathe, POW, Fend and Saucy – designed for every mood and occasion.

Lab Tonica believes in the power of plants and the amazing alchemy of nature and our bodies. Every sip of tea, smudge of balm and spritz of mist contains century old knowledge, modern techniques and the finest herbal ingredients to nurture inside and out, promoting everyday wellness through all natural ingredients.

Open from 6th September to 27th October, the former iconic menswear store, Moss Bros, has been transformed into a one-off pop-up shop, enabling six independent brands to display their products on one of the most famous shopping streets in the world.

The leasing of the site of the former high street giant highlights how the face of retail has changed as a result of the pandemic, with consumers turning increasingly towards smaller, independent brands. After a competitive selection process, the six chosen brands are companies founded in the local area and all with a long-term commitment to sustainability, and each brand has been given a dedicated space within the store.

Kitty Mcentee, founder of Lab Tonica said “The face of retail in London has changed dramatically, especially over the past 12 months and as a brand founded and born during lockdown, we’re thrilled for Lab Tonica to be part of this creative new shopping concept. We are inviting Londoners to step out of the busy hubbub of Regent Street and into our botanical oasis to try some herbal wellness magic for themselves. Whether it is help with sleep, an immunity boost or a shot of energy – we have a tea, balm and mist for every wellbeing need – and all sustainably produced”.
