Cheers to Exhibit Balham! The beloved South London venue has just been crowned ‘Best Bar in London’ at the prestigious Muddy Stilettos Awards, marking back to back wins after securing the title of ‘Best Event Venue’ in 2024.

A cornerstone of the Balham community for over 24 years, Exhibit spans three vibrant floors featuring boutique cinema, secret garden, private rooms, balconies, and most recently, the addition of a stunning mezzanine restaurant. With an atmosphere that blends style, soul, and spontaneity, Exhibit has become a go-to destination for Londoners and visitors alike. In 2019, Lisa Loebenberg and Emma Willis took over the venue, bringing new life to this much loved Balham Venue.

Lisa Loebenberg, co-owner of Exhibit Balham, shared her excitement about the win:
“Exhibit has always been close to my heart. My love for Exhibit began many years ago, in the early days of my hospitality journey, when I worked as General Manager. When Emma and I took over just before the pandemic, we knew it would take passion and perseverance to reimagine what Exhibit could be. Our vision was simple: create an inclusive space where every guest feels like family. To now be recognised as London’s Best Bar is truly humbling. This award belongs to our incredible team and the loyal guests, especially our locals who’ve supported us every step of the way.”

The team is kicking off a long weekend of celebrations with al fresco dining, sunset DJ sets, and summer spritzes served on their brand new terrace, secret Garden and sun drenched balconies.

General Manager Duncan Mutter, who joined the team in 2023, added:
“We’re absolutely thrilled, this recognition means the world to all of us. It’s been such a rewarding journey being part of Exhibit’s transformation. Organised by the popular lifestyle website Muddy Stilettos, the Muddy Stiletto Awards celebrate outstanding local independent businesses across London, with categories ranging from restaurants and bars to florists, fitness instructors, and family-friendly activities. Along with the other regional winners, Exhibit Balham now go forward to the national Muddy Awards, where the very best in the country will be selected and announced in June.
