Oscar is a fashionable and outgoing French Bulldog, raised in New York City and currently living in London, the popular pooch has over 190,000 followers on Instagram. Securing his place in the hearts of his adopted nation, the dapper dog will now be immortalised with his very own greetings card.

No stranger to the spotlight, Oscar has modelled for notable companies, been on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, appeared on countless live TV shows in the USA, and in numerous magazines, newspapers and websites including Cosmopolitan, The New York Times, MTV, Buzzfeed, Refinery29.

Frank and Pennie, the animal-loving couple behind hand-made greeting card company, Tache, fell in love with Oscar when the pair saw Oscar’s video that went viral in 2017 as Pennie explains:
“Oscar is such a gorgeous Frenchie, we love his globe-trotting spirit, and seeing where Oscar’s going to go next. We love all animals, lots of our handmade cards feature dogs, cats, koalas, zebras, dinosaurs – the list goes on! Working with Oscar on his own card was a dream, and Andre – his human- was great too!!”

Andre Falcao, Oscar’s human, adds: “Oscar’s always been a very handsome and stylish Frenchie, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled when the team at Tache got in touch to see if they could make a special Oscar card. We’ve loved working with Tache’s designers on this card and Oscar is over the moon with the final design!

“What we also loved about working with Tache was our shared passion for puppy welfare. We all decided early on that every single penny of the profits from these special Oscar the Frenchie cards should be donated to the amazing team at the French Bulldog Welfare Trust (FBWT). The FBWT relies solely on donations to raise the vital funds it needs to make sure they can be there for every dog that needs them.

We really hope that Oscar’s card can not only bring joy to all the Frenchie fans out there but can also help other Frenchies that aren’t so fortunate.”
