FANZO BRINGS SPORTS FANS TOGETHER FOR THE 2022 WORLD CUP

On a mission to solve the problem of where to watch the World Cup this winter, FANZO has identified the best locations for every expat in the capital to watch their team compete. From Belgium and Argentina to Japan and Iran, fans of every nation will now know where to gather to celebrate or commiserate amongst fellow supporters. Especially for the World Cup, FANZO has selected 32 venues in London to watch each of the participating nations and ensure that supporters from every country can unite, immerse themselves in the culture and watch the tournament together.

London is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, home to supporters of every participating nation. 400,000 fans are expected to use FANZO to find a pub showing the World Cup teams – with at least 50% of these predicted to be international fans – FANZO is making sure everyone can watch each game in an electric crowd of fellow supporters.

FANZO has found the perfect locations to watch each World Cup match. Each destination has been nominated by FANZO users and personally vetted by the FANZO team to ensure an authentic experience that will bring fans together to enjoy in real social interaction, with sport at the beating heart of it.

Kicking off on Sunday 20th November with Qatar playing Ecuador at 7pm (UK time), everyone can visit the FANZO website to discover the best ‘fanzone’. From hotspot pubs and sports bars in the expat communities to international restaurants, each fan zone will be a hub for supporters to come together and create unforgettable sporting moments.

Adding to the incredible atmosphere where the world comes together through sport, for the duration of the World Cup, FANZO will be supporting Football Beyond Borders, the charity that exists to change the lives of young people who are passionate about football. For every person who checks in at a designated Fanzone via the app, FANZO will donate £1.

Users will also have the opportunity to win prizes and offers on the FANZO app via prediction games, quizzes and check in competitions.

Dominic Collinwood, Co-Founder at FANZO says: “We know the power of sport and we’re proud to be giving Londoners the chance to watch their teams play in the World Cup amongst fellow fans. There is no greater feeling than sharing an incredible sporting moment in a great venue, which is why we’ve spent so much time selecting our favourite fan zones. We can’t wait to experience the electric atmosphere ourselves!”
