Farzi – the modern Indian restaurant on Haymarket in Central London – has announced the launch of its summer menu, complete with a live chaat trolley. The announcement of the new menu comes in the same month that Farzi re-opens its glorious terrace, providing locals and tourists alike a fabulous spot in the sun in Central London, just up from Trafalgar Square.
Launching on 13th May, the new summer menu comprises some firm favourites that never leave the menu, alongside some exciting seasonal specials to run throughout the summer.
Some highlights from the summer menu include:
Cannoli Dahi Papdi Chaat: Italian inspired crispy dough tubes stuffed with spiced potato & cranberries, served over red bean masala, sweet yoghurt, tamarind and sev-boondi.
Rwiazi Butter Crab Tostada: robust & peppery, butter garlic dressed crab, served over a crispy corn tortilla, smeared with creme fraiche, topped with wild rocket, pomelo segments and passion fruit
Titli Fish Tava Fry Masala: butterfly sea bream, marinated in a spicy tamarind and Indian miso glaze and grilled, served with brown garlic, coriander and crispy onion masala
Alongside having the full a la carte menu available, there will be a live chaat trolley available every day, providing an exciting spectacle for diners before they enjoy their tangy, sweet and spicy chaat. Guests can expect a classic chaat being made right in front of them.
In other exciting news for the restaurant, on 1st May, Farzi will re-open its brilliant terrace, comprising 30 covers, sitting on the lively Haymarket Street. The terrace gets bathed in sun, and is adorned with umbrellas to cool customers down during the London heatwaves.
Alongside the delicious food, the terrace is also the perfect place to enjoy some of Farzi’s outstanding and creative cocktails, whether it’s a Mango Cosmo with the incredible Desi Daru Mango Vodka or the Himalayan Sour comprising Tanquaray Gin, slated hibiscus, passion fruit and makrut leaves, there is a cocktail for everyone.
Farzi is also still host to its ever-popular brunch offering – a vibrant all-you-can-eat feast with live entertainment – every Sunday.
