Final preparations are made at Legoland Resort Windsor’s for the ‘Brick or treat’ season launch.

They have arguably the best job in the world, but this October Model Makers at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort will take on a special seasonal assignment with the frightful task of maintaining hundreds of LEGO® pumpkins.

In a first-ever initiative, the Resort’s expert Model Makers will operate under the new name of ‘The Pumpkin Patrol’ whose job it will be to build, clean, maintain and repair LEGO pumpkins of all shapes and sizes every day for a month during its annual Brick or Treat celebrations.

The Pumpkin Patrol’s first job featured the safe installation and unveiling of a new giant pumpkin carving model which was built using 50,350 LEGO bricks.

The model which is on display for the first time during the month-long festivities was built offsite by a team of Model Makers, taking 250 hours to create.

Will Saunders, Model Maker at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, said: “Halloween is a chance to enjoy some ghoulishly good fun as a family which is why we have created a special seasonal assignment for our Model Makers to take Brick or Treat to the next level.

“Monsters big and small will be able to try and spot our wonderful Pumpkin Patrol in action as they take on the frightfully epic task of maintaining thousands of LEGO pumpkins every day including our amazing new giant pumpkin model which is sure to be the star of many family photos this October.”
The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort is the home of Halloween for kids this autumn with the resurrection of its Brick or Treat extravaganza featuring rides and attractions, activities and live shows all the way to November 5th.
