Having called its Elephant & Castle site home for over a decade, Mercato Metropolitano will continue trading throughout summer 2026, inviting Londoners to soak up its vibrant atmosphere, diverse food offering and packed cultural programme – with its expansive Outdoor Piazza set to become one of South London’s go-to al fresco destinations this season.

Bringing together an outdoor terrace, more than 40 independent food traders serving a diverse range of global flavours, bars pouring everything from craft beer to margarita towers, and the playful Crazy Boules experience, Mercato Metropolitano Elephant & Castle offers a place to eat, drink and socialise under the sun, with covered areas to cater to all types of British weather.
