First look at Legoland resort Windsor’s New Woodland Village

Talented model makers at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort have been busy recreating creatures great and small to go on display at the UK’s first LEGO® woodland themed holiday village this May.
With less than a month to go until the highly anticipated opening of the £35m LEGOLAND Woodland Village development, the team have been stepping up their brick building efforts to bring to life a ‘tree-mendous’ selection of woodland animals in all shapes and sizes of LEGO.
From a family of Fallow Deer and miniature Rabbits to the iconic Red Kite, Ducks and even Ducklings, the creatures will go on display when the new accommodation opens for the first time to guests on Friday 24th May.
Thousands of LEGO bricks were used by model makers who spent over 300 hours in total creating the models which have been installed on the enchanting LEGO nature trail.
Helen Bull, Divisional Director at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, said: “The countdown is on to the opening of the UK’s first LEGO themed holiday village which will offer families the perfect blend of comfort and adventurous play surrounded by nature.
“Woodland Village will offer a unique short break experience where guests will be able to spot an amazing array of new LEGO creature models built by our incredibly talented team. Families may even be able to catch a glimpse of a real Deer or Red Kite, which will be particularly exciting for Junior Rangers during their stay.”
The LEGOLAND Woodland Village will feature130 cosy lodges, 20 stylish camping barrels, an on-site restaurant (The Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar) and a family entertainment hub nestled amongst trees on a 10-acre site.
Prices to book a short break at LEGOLAND Woodland Village start from £69 per person including entry to the LEGOLAND Windsor theme park, a round of LEGOLAND Adventure golf, and bed and breakfast. Visit www.legoland.co.uk for more information on how to book.
