Popeyes® UK, the home of Louisiana fried chicken, opened the doors to its brand-new Hounslow restaurant this morning.

The new restaurant, located on the Hounslow High Street, opened its doors at 11am, bringing its signature New Orleans energy and hospitality to the area with a live performance from Mardi Gras style band, The Brass Funkeys.

The launch saw over one hundred enthusiastic fans lining up from as early as 4pm the day before the opening to get a taste of the world-famous Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich.
Krystal Nguyen was the very first through the doors after an incredible 19-hour wait, saying: “I saw the opening date announcement on TikTok and knew I had to try and be first in line. I’ve seen so many people rave about Popeyes and I wasn’t going to miss out on the experience!”

Fried chicken fans can now get a taste of the full Popeyes® menu from the new restaurant on Hounslow’s high street, including fan-favourites like the Chicken Sandwich, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps in Classic, Spicy, and BBQ.

All of Popeyes® chicken is halal and marinated for 12 hours in its signature blend of Louisiana seasoning, then hand-breaded and battered to deliver that world-famous ‘shatter crunch,’ complemented by tasty extras like Biscuits and Cajun Gravy.

The new Saucin’ Boneless and Hot Wings range will also be available, featuring bold, New Orleans-inspired flavours: cheesy Garlic Parm, bold BBQ, and spicy Buffalo. Each portion of the Saucin’ range features these iconic flavours over its iconic spicy Hot Wings or all-new boneless chicken breast pieces.

Starting tomorrow, Saturday 26th April, Popeyes® will also be serving up its halal breakfast menu. Available from 8am until 11am daily, the ‘Brekkie’ menu, features British breakfast classics with an optional New Orleans twist. The menu includes a mouth-watering range of breakfast favourites, including breakfast rolls, muffins, biscuits and Cajun Hash Browns.
It will even include a Breakfast meal deal for just £1.99 – consisting of the Chicken Brekkie Roll, a Cajun Hash Brown and a drink, which can be claimed exclusively through the Popeyes® UK app, available to download here now.
