Fixing Radio for the Trades: 352,000 tradespeople tune into Fix Radio each week
Fix Radio – the UK’s only national radio station dedicated to tradespeople – has continued to aggressively grow its audience of tradespeople and listening hours. According to a report by Nielsen, a global leader in audience measurement, data and analysis, more tradespeople than ever before are tuning into Fix Radio’s blend of uplifting tunes, banter and industry insight. The Builders Station had a weekly reach of 352,423 tradespeople between December 2022 and May 2023. The station’s potential weekly reach – a figure that takes into account that several tradespeople are typically within earshot of the radio while on site – was 498,403 tradespeople.
Fix Radio’s average weekly listening figures also grew to 24.1 hours, between June 2022 and May 2023. Nielsen calculated Fix Radio fans tuned in to the station for an average of 3.4 hours per day. The previous audit of Fix Radio’s audience figures by Nielsen, calculated the station’s weekly reach at 295,109 tradespeople with 22.9 hours average weekly listening.
