Flurry of Sales at Southbank Place total £30 Million
A recent run of sales at Southbank Place has seen all remaining apartments sold, with only penthouses now remaining at the iconic development. The last eight apartments below penthouse level across One and Thirty Casson Square have been bought for a combined value of just under £30 million, which takes the total number of homes sold at the riverside scheme to 469, GDV totalling c. £775 million.
The remaining units within the development include three penthouses and a three-bedroom sub-penthouse across One Casson Square and Thirty Casson Square, the last of the 213 and 166 units, respectively. These contemporary towers, designed by Squire and Partners, are cased in stone and command the best views across London, from the River Thames and Houses of Parliament extending to St. Paul’s Cathedral and the City of London.
Two penthouses at Belvedere Gardens are also available. One of the units atop the unique river-facing buildings is a magnificent award-winning four-bedroom residence which has been designed and dressed by the renowned design studio Goddard Littlefair.
Occupying the entire 10th floor and providing 360º views across London, the 3,862 sq. ft. penthouse comprises two master bedroom suites with walk-in-dressing rooms, two guest bedrooms, two kitchens, an open-plan living/dining area, two guest bathrooms, expansive terrace and a private balcony.
Benefitting from two separate entrances, accessed via a private corridor, The Penthouse at Belvedere Gardens provides visitors with immediate, show-stopping views as they enter the open-plan living/dining area, where they can soak in the incredible sight of the London skyline through floor-to-ceiling triple-glazed windows.
The Penthouse at Belvedere Gardens benefits from direct access to a private amenities space located within the building, exclusively dedicated to the residents of Belvedere Gardens. The facilities include a private residents’ lounge and outdoor terrace looking out onto Jubilee Gardens, the London Eye and the protected view of the River Thames. It also features a dedicated health and fitness facility, with steam and sauna rooms, gymnasium, treatment rooms, wet room and relaxation room.
Residents at Southbank Place also enjoy exclusive use of a 17,000 sq. ft. private health club located in the basement of the wider development. Also designed by Goddard Littlefair and operated by specialists Educated Body, the amenities space includes a 25-metre swimming pool, his and hers steam and sauna rooms, expansive gymnasium with specialist workout rooms, relaxation pods, treatment rooms and a hair and beauty studio.
Brian De’ath, Managing Director of Residential Sales at Southbank Place, said: “Southbank Place has remained one of London’s most successful developments and, even through a pandemic and unpredictable markets, sales have remained strong. This is largely attributed to the quality of homes on offer, the fully immersed lifestyle and the excellent location. The final penthouse units boast unparalleled views of London’s skyline, in addition to the state-of-the-art facilities and amenities exclusively for residents, so this development is still a huge draw to buyers.
“To be maintaining the sales levels that we are is a huge testament to the scheme and is a good yardstick for the final phase set to launch next year.”
Developed by Braeburn Estates, Southbank Place has become a recognisable landmark behind the London Eye on the River Thames. Surrounding the iconic Shell Tower, the wider development consists of three residential buildings (Belvedere Gardens, One and Thirty Casson Square), a mixed residential building at 8 Casson Square, commercial units at One & Two Southbank Place and multiple cafés and eateries across the public spaces.
One final river-facing residential building is set to be launched at Southbank Place in 2023.
The final six apartments at Southbank Place remain available, with prices starting from £7,850,000.
