FRAMELESS London launches exam season sanctuary for stressed students
With millions of students facing a study-filled half term, and many younger ones breathing a sigh of relief post-SATS, FRAMELESS, the UK’s largest immersive art experience, is opening its doors for a series of special sessions designed to help students take a break and enjoy a much-needed moment of calm.
Whilst it’s tempting to cram study into every waking moment, breaks are crucial during revision for improved focus, concentration and overall well-being. And for those who’ve just wrapped up exams, now’s the perfect time to relax and recharge. Engaging with art can help quieten the mind and improve attention span, both essential steps for academic success. Spending time away from screens and workstations, and surrounded by art, doesn’t just benefit emotional wellbeing; it also reduces stress and promotes relaxation.
To celebrate these new sessions, FRAMELESS is giving away 100 pairs of tickets for an exclusive, private quiet visit before public opening. These early access sessions are for students feeling the effects of burnout (and perhaps those parents feeling the fallout), offering them a chance to reset and return to their studies with renewed clarity and calm. In addition, every weekday throughout half term (excluding Bank Holiday Monday) from 3-5pm*, one student aged 18 or under will go free with every paying adult. This initiative encourages families and young people to take a well-earned screen break and spend a mindful hour or two immersed in creativity together.
What additional experiences are available this Spring at FRAMELESS?
Featuring world-renowned visionaries such as Salvador Dalí, Max Ernst, and Edvard Munch, the new-look Beyond Reality Gallery will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the vivid and emotionally charged worlds of the artists. This Spring, FRAMELESS introduced a new addition to the Beyond Reality Gallery with Redon’s The Cyclops, joining eight other iconic remastered artworks that push the boundaries of immersive storytelling. Inspired by The Cyclops and his broader body of work, Redon’s reimagined universe unfolds before visitors’ eyes, inviting them into a world of curiosity and wonder.
Also new this Spring, British artist Claire Luxton takes residency in the fifth Gallery with a show that invites visitors to consider what happens on the precipice of sleep. Inspired by Surrealist art and ancient dream philosophies, the exhibition explores the emotional landscape of the sleeping mind, encouraging reflection on modern sleep habits and the restorative power of dreams. Entry into the ‘Right Before We Wake’ residency is included free of charge in standard entry tickets from now until July 7.
