Frasers Property UK And MBNA Thames Clippers Announce New Wandsworth Riverside Quarter Pier Extension
Frasers Property UK and MBNA Thames Clippers have announced the extension of Wandsworth Riverside Quarter Pier in association with Wandsworth Council. The new pier extension will improve access for the MBNA Thames Clippers RB6 service from Putney to Central London for both commuters and residents of the Riverside Quarter development, and transforms Riverside Quarter into a smart new riverside gateway for the borough.
The pre-existing 80 metre pier was extended by 23 metres and access will now move closer to the deeper Thames navigable channel. Frasers Property UK obtained permission for this connected to a new 30 metres by six metres pontoon for embarkation and disembarkation.
