Freya Ridings confirmed to support Snow Patrol at Forest Live Delamere
Forest Live, Forestry England’s summer concert series presented with Cuffe & Taylor, are thrilled to announce BRIT Award-nominee and acclaimed pop singer-songwriter Freya Ridings as the latest act set to perform at the event’s 2025 edition.
Heading to Forestry England Delamere on Friday 13 June, Westonbirt Arboretum on Tuesday 17 June and Cannock Chase Forest on Thursday 26 June, Freya will kickstart proceedings as support to Northern Irish indie-rockers Snow Patrol.
North London-based Freya Ridings caught lightning in a bottle with breakout track and emotive ballad ‘Lost Without You’ in 2017. Her Gold-certified, BRIT-nominated debut album shot her to global success with over 1 billion streams worldwide, as she became the first female artist to fully write and perform a top ten hit since Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’.
Hotly tipped by pop music icons including Taylor Swift and Florence Welch, Freya has previously wowed fans at Glastonbury and the Coronation Concert and 2025 promises to be her biggest year yet.
Set to be supported by Freya Ridings at three stunning woodlands this summer, Snow Patrol are best known for their emotive and anthemic hits including ‘Chasing Cars’, ‘Run’, ‘Just Say Yes’ and ‘Open Your Eyes’.
Over the course of their career, the band have earned a momentous seven Meteor Ireland Music Awards and an Ivor Novello and been nominated for six BRIT Awards and one GRAMMY. Last year, they released their aptly titled UK Number One album The Forest Is The Path to widespread acclaim.
Merging stellar performances from world-class acts with beautiful outdoor locations to create an atmosphere like no other, Forest Live 2025 will take place at four forest venues: Forestry England Cannock Chase, Delamere, High Lodge, Thetford and Westonbirt Arboretum.
Freya Ridings joins a selection of renowned global artists announced to perform at the event’s 2025 edition including Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Blossoms, The Script, Sting, Snow Patrol, James, McFly, Busted, Paul Heaton, Gary Barlow, Elbow, Rag’n’Bone Man, Beverley Knight, Razorlight, Billy Bragg, The Coral, The Brand New Heavies, Shed Seven and more.
Forestry England manage and care for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests. They use the money Forest Live raises to maintain these beautiful natural areas for everyone to enjoy, run important conservation projects and keep growing trees. Last year they planted some 7.4 million trees and welcomed 285 million visits in 2023/24. Everyone in England lives within a one-hour drive of one of the nation’s forests. Over two million people have enjoyed the Forest Live gigs over the last 23 years.
