Gas Emergency Works – Lane closure on Burlington Lane, Chiswick

Emergency repair work will start on Burlington Lane, Chiswick, from Sunday 28 September from 9pm for approximately one week.

Cadent has received a number of reported gas escapes, which require repairs to ensure the continued safety and reliability of the gas supply in the area.

Working with the local Councils and Highways Authorities, we have arranged to complete the repair work from 9pm on Sunday evening, working 24hrs a day for a week.

There will be a lane closure on Burlington Lane, northbound from Paxton Road to the roundabout. With no access to Hogarth roundabout for any vehicle. Please note: Hogarth Flyover will remain accessible to vehicles under three tonnes and 2metres in width.

Large goods vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and buses will not be able to use the flyover and need to use the diversions instead. For access to Hogarth roundabout, follow diversion along Kew Road (A307), then follow Great West Road (A4).

Residents on Paxton Road will be able to exit Paxton Road and utilise the flyover.

Please note there is no turning for heavy goods vehicles or buses.

Please plan extra time for your journeys and follow diversions in place.
