Get ready for the biggest ever London Climate Action Week 2025

London Climate Action Week takes place 21-29 June 2025. #LCAW2025

Interest is higher than ever and 500+ events from grassroots to international governments, organisations and private sector business have applied to showcase the momentum behind whole-of-society climate action in LCAW’s 7th year.

2025 festival themes highlight London’s expertise in cutting edge sectors such as green finance, cleantech and AI innovation, risk and resilience, sustainable fashion and private sector transition planning. It mobilises key networks in law, professions, education/universities, health, fashion, arts and culture. Events seek to drive tangible outcomes and showcase local action, delivering inclusive and resilient climate transition for the wellbeing of people and planet in London and globally.

The platform is open for events to register in the official programme until 11 June 2025 at https://www.londonclimateactionweek.org/

The programme will continue to grow until all registrations are competed and published. Hundreds of events are already live and open for guests to register or apply for a place. Events are a mix of open, private, free and paid.

Hosted by E3G, this year’s event features leaders from London including Sadiq Khan, Mete Coburn from the GLA; from the UK including Ed Miliband, David Lammy, Kerry McCarthy, Rachel Kyte, Ruth Davis; and a strong international presence including Mia Mottley, André Aranha Corrêa do Lago, Marina Silva, Ana Toni, and the High-level Climate Champions, Nigar Arpadarai and Dan Ioschpe.

The programme features a wide range of organisations representing different sectors from grassroots to global corporations, for example, British International Investment, City of London Corporation, Green Finance Institute, Google, Howden, London Schools Climate Action, LSEG, Octopus Energy, Wellcome, WWF, and Urban Farmer Projects.

London Climate Action Week is a key moment for London in the global climate calendar on the road to COP30. London is home to the largest concentration of climate-focused professionals, and LCAW provides a focal point where different sectors, communities and people can come together collaboratively to drive change.

THE ROLE OF CITIES IN WHOLE OF SOCIETY CLIMATE ACTION:

LCAW has inspired other cities since its start with its collaborative model and this year sees climate action weeks in Sydney, Bangkok, Baku, Rio, Shanghai and more, alongside established events such as Climate Week NYC.

With 89% of the public wanting more action on climate and 97% of business leaders around the globe calling for faster energy transition, the momentum for climate action has never been stronger, and more needed.
