GLAZIERS HALL STRENGTHENS TEAM WITH TWO NEW APPOINTMENTS

Glaziers Hall, the Livery building on the Southbank in London, has strengthened its team with the appointment of Ruth Wilson and Feza Ahmed as Sales and Events Coordinators.

Both will be responsible for responding to enquiries and providing quotes for events, as well as building a rapport with corporate and private clients. In addition, they will work alongside the operations team to manage and coordinate events in each of the seven spaces at the Hall.

As a previous events manager for a gin company, Ruth has relevant experience that she can bring to the role. Used to working with a diverse set of clients with differing requirements, she is most looking forward to having the opportunity to be creative within different spaces.

Ruth comments: “With seven very different spaces to choose from, this role gives me the opportunity to use my imagination and be creative. It means that I can work with clients to show what we can achieve in each space. I hope that this will encourage them to come back time and again.

“There are some beautiful rooms within the building and the views across to the City of London simply have to be seen.”

Previously a Sales and Events Coordinator for a private events, bar and restaurant venue along the Thames, Feza has directly transferable skills that she can bring to the position. She is most excited about working with more corporate clients, as well as private customers, for events in a space and style that is different to what she’s used to.

Feza comments: “The interview process for this position was really enjoyable and welcoming. Although my previous job was similar, I’m looking forward to working with a different type of clientele and being able to focus primarily on selling and planning events.

“We have some really unique spaces here at Glaziers Hall, so it will be really interesting and fun to create events that benefit from the character and charm of each.”

Glaziers Hall has seven unique spaces available, with capacity for up to 450 guests. The building can be hired exclusively, or clients can choose one of the seven event spaces to meet with their specific requirements.
