PART 1: KING’S CROSS STATION – 12 – 15 October

Glenfiddich, The World’s Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, will put its stamp on London’s King’s Cross during the Frieze Art Fair by unveiling a striking mirrored cube housing a sensorial art experience. In an exciting collaboration with Osaka-born, Berlin-based artist, Ryoichi Kurokawa, three immersive audio-visual artworks will be displayed to the public for the first time within the cube, located in front of King’s Cross Station. Inspired by Glenfiddich’s Time Re:Imagined collection of 30, 40 and 50-year old rare, aged Scotch whiskies each of the pieces captures a moment in time and seamlessly combines the world of experimental art and whisky in one indulgent experience.

Coinciding with the annual Frieze Art Fair in nearby Regent’s Park, Kurokawa’s distillation of the three rare whiskies into their audio-visual equivalent is open for public view.

PART 2: SWEETIES AT THE STANDARD, LONDON – 17 – 30 October

Following the installation at King’s Cross, the artworks will be housed by Sweeties at The Standard, London which is just opposite the site of the cube. During the artwork’s installation in Sweeties at The Standard, London, the bar will offer a bespoke limited edition menu of cocktails created by the hotel’s Beverage Consultant Zoe Burgess in collaboration with Glenfiddich National Brand Ambassador, Alex Walker, providing the opportunity to imbibe the rare whiskies whilst immersed in the artworks.

Like the work of Ryoichi Kurokawa, the serves draw inspiration from a single moment in time and the whisky-making process. The menu also features a selection of drams to sip and savour whilst taking in the sensorial display. This remarkable collection of aged and exclusive single malt whiskies represents the ultimate expression of time and is the pinnacle of Glenfiddich’s signature distillery style.
