In an enchanting collaboration with internationally renowned artist André Saraiva, Glenfiddich, the World’s Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky*, is marking the release of Grand Château 31 year old: the latest luxury limited edition whisky in its Grand Series.

Saraiva, recognised internationally for his whimsical and avant-garde expressions, has worked with Glenfiddich to visualise the world of Grand Château in a mesmerising fusion of tradition and rebellion. His playful designs infuse the new whisky’s packaging design with his signature flair, and during a four-week residency at London’s iconic department store, Harvey Nichols, this imaginative world will transcend the box, materialising as a physical space to step inside of, as The Grand Château takes over its 109 Bar.

Until 5th January the doors of the Château will open to graffiti painted in this location, featuring André’s eminent Mr. A – a charming, top-hatted figure, set amidst symbols of the whisky’s journey including the fine Bordeaux red wine casks that have cradled this whisky for it’s extended nine year finish. Saraiva has been handed creative control to disrupt the bar space and one of the store’s window displays into a bespoke artwork. In striking juxtaposition, traditional French Toile de Juoy covered walls will become a living canvas, artfully reimagined with bold red spray paint, mirroring the exquisite depth of the Grand Château 31 year old whisky – a celebration of cultures intertwining in a symphony of art and flavour.

Offering something new that will appeal to whisky connoisseurs and progressive art fans alike, the unexpected installation will house a bar, serving an extraordinary range of luxury single malt Scotch whisky drams and cocktails, and a bottle shop, where the new Glenfiddich Grand Château and the wider Glenfiddich range await.

Glenfiddich Grand Château 31 year old, a testament to the artistry and dedication of its makers, will be available from Harvey Nichols and other luxury whisky retailer and hospitality venues in the UK from 5th September 2024 for an RRSP of £1,595.
