Global pop meets Winx Club magic in one of the year’s most exciting entertainment collaborations.
Multi-platinum international superstar Zara Larsson joins the iconic Winx Club for a spectacular new music video that transforms her Grammy-nominated hit Midnight Sun into an unforgettable crossover of music, fashion and fantasy.
Zara Larsson steps inside the magical world of Winx Club, starring alongside the legendary fairies in a visually striking production that seamlessly blends live action with the franchise’s signature animation. The result is an immersive storytelling experience that places the artist at the heart of one of the world’s most beloved animated universes.
An exclusive excerpt from the music video will also feature in the new episodes of Winx Club: The Magic is Back, premiering later this year.
Created by Rainbow, the Italian entertainment company behind the globally successful franchise, the production combines Zara Larsson’s unmistakable style with the iconic visual language of Winx Club, taking audiences on a vibrant adventure where music, fashion and magic come together.
The collaboration brings together two global entertainment worlds in a bold new creative format, giving longtime fans a fresh way to experience the Winx universe while introducing millions of music fans to its colourful world for the very first time.
One of Sweden’s most successful award-winning artists, Zara Larsson first rose to fame after winning Talang (Sweden’s Got Talent) at just ten years old before becoming one of the world’s leading pop stars. Her global hits Lush Life, Never Forget You and the Clean Bandit collaboration Symphony have amassed billions of streams, earned multiple platinum certifications and topped charts across Europe, the UK and the United States.
With her bold creativity, fearless individuality and empowering message, Zara Larsson is a natural fit for the Winx universe – a franchise that has inspired generations through confidence, friendship, vibrant style and everyday magic.
“Welcoming Zara Larsson into the Winx Club universe is a celebration of two worlds united by creativity, freedom of expression and authenticity,” said Iginio Straffi, Founder and CEO of Rainbow. “Seeing Midnight Sun come to life through the magic of Winx Club is a source of great pride and perfectly reflects the direction we want to continue pursuing: creating experiences that inspire and bring together music, storytelling and imagination. Winx is much more than a story about fairies, it is an ever-evolving phenomenon that continues to grow alongside its fans, embracing new voices, new talents and new forms of artistic expression.”
The collaboration arrives as excitement continues to build around the latest chapter of the franchise, with six brand-new episodes of Winx Club: The Magic is Back now streaming globally on Netflix. The series is also available on other major broadcasters including the BBC in the UK on Rai in Italy, TF1 in France, and Canal Panda in Portugal from September. These premieres will run ahead of the launch of new international partners throughout Q3, further expanding the series’ global reach.
