Global’s Make Some Noise made some noise on Carnaby Street
On Tuesday 17th December, Global’s Make Some Noise made some noise on Carnaby Street, bringing delight to Londoners and tourists alike, whilst supporting vital small charities across the UK, at one of the most important times of year for giving.
Following the switch-on of the all-new Into The Light installation, festivities were turned up even further yesterday, as visitors were treated to captivating on-street performance by Steel Band Trio, Endurance Steel and festive choir, The Groove Chorus. All in support of Global’s Make Some Noise, the festivities were hosted by Heart Radio’s Pandora Christie and brought a delightful blend of classic Christmas tunes and uplifting favourites to passers-by on Carnaby Street.
Suzanne Ryder Richardson, Director of Global Goodness, Global’s Make Some Noise, said:“Partnering with Carnaby Street during the festive season has been a fantastic opportunity to amplify our work and raise vital funds to make sure that nobody is left facing life’s toughest challenges alone. The energy and spirit of Carnaby Street align perfectly with our goal to create positive change and this collaboration will allow us to fund projects that will help to make a life changing difference in local communities across the UK, tackling issues such as mental health, poverty and homelessness.”
Silv Pybus, Director, The Groove Chorus, said: “Performing on Carnaby Street was such an honour, especially knowing that our music is raising awareness of Global’s Make Some Noise and the amazing work they do. There’s something truly magical about singing during the festive season, bringing people together, and spreading joy.”
The performances spread both Christmas cheer and meaningful impact, right from Carnaby Street, the beating heart of the capital. The festivities continue in full-swing on Carnaby Street, where visitors can find an exceptional array of restaurants and shops, offering everything from group-friendly feasting to Christmas shopping galore. The area is a haven for food lovers, gift givers and holiday revellers alike and the most vibrant festive destination in London.
