The newly relaunched Barfly has announced a London headline show from much-tipped Brooklyn trio Gooseberry, marking the band’s first-ever UK tour. Taking place on Tuesday 3rd November 2026 at the iconic Chalk Farm Road venue, the night offers London fans a rare chance to catch one of New York’s most exciting rising acts in an intimate setting. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Monday 22 June via Tixr, with demand expected to be high as Barfly reopens its doors and Gooseberry steps onto its stage for the very first time.
Gooseberry has quickly become a force within NYC’s alternative scene. Formed in 2019, the trio — Asa Daniels (guitar, vocals), Evin Rossington (drums) and Will Hammond (bass) — fuse rock, indie and blues into a sound that has earned millions of streams and acclaim from industry tastemakers.

Gooseberry’s sophomore LP Simple Sucker arrives 25th September 2026
Their 2024 debut album All My Friends Are Cattle showcased the band’s ambition, crafted with a Grammy-winning team including James ‘Jimmy T’ Meslin (Dream Theater, John Petrucci, Rush), Colin Bryson (Zach Bryan, J Balvin, Willow Avalon) and Phil Joly (The Strokes, Lana Del Rey, Daft Punk). The album has surpassed 3M streams, with standout single Kikiyon alone exceeding 1M on Spotify. Now boasting 70K+ monthly listeners, major festival slots and a fast-growing international fanbase, Gooseberry enter a new chapter with their sophomore LP Simple Sucker, arriving 25th September 2026, setting the stage for their biggest year yet.
Hosting Gooseberry’s debut London headline show is a fitting moment for Barfly, the storied grassroots venue that helped launch generations of global talent. From Coldplay and Adele to The Strokes, Ed Sheeran, The Killers and The Cure, Barfly became synonymous with grassroots discovery – a rite of passage for artists destined for major stages. Its return this June marks the revival of a vital cultural institution, restored with upgraded sound, vinyl listening bar and a renewed commitment to championing emerging artists.
Gooseberry’s arrival continues that legacy, offering fans the chance to witness a future festival headliner in a room built for breakthrough moments.
