Guinness Homes is inviting prospective buyers to hear from the interior designers behind its latest show homes at Argenta, Silvertown, with a dedicated lunchtime webinar taking place on Tuesday 14th April 2026, between 12:00pm – 12:45pm.
Designed as an inspiring and practical session for first-time buyers, the 45-minute webinar will offer attendees the opportunity to explore the newly launched one- and two-bedroom Shared Ownership show homes, while gaining expert interior design advice from the team behind the schemes, Dapa Atelier. The session will focus on how to approach styling a first home, with tips on creating spaces that feel both aspirational and achievable.
Designed by Dapa Atelier, the two show homes at Argenta have been created as distinct yet complementary spaces, each tailored to a different buyer while remaining rooted in Silvertown’s unique character and heritage.
The one-bedroom show home has been designed with a first-time buyer in mind – a single purchaser or couple stepping onto the property ladder and embracing life in East London. The interior focuses on texture, tactility and warmth, drawing on natural materials and a palette inspired by the area’s industrial past. Cork wallcoverings, raffia and cane detailing, and soft woven fabrics create a layered, lived-in feel, while bespoke elements such as artwork made from burlap and cushions crafted from repurposed grain sacks reinforce an ‘old meets new’ narrative.
In contrast, the two-bedroom show home reflects a more established buyer – a couple looking for their next step, with a more design-conscious approach. Here, the scheme is bolder and more expressive, taking cues from Silvertown’s industrial and waterside setting. Rich copper tones, deep blues and art deco influences reference the area’s heritage, including its history of cable production and proximity to the water, with bespoke artwork and finishes echoing the energy and evolution of the Royal Docks.
Across both homes, Dapa Atelier has carefully balanced aesthetics with practicality, ensuring spaces feel stylish yet liveable. Storage is seamlessly integrated throughout, from thoughtfully designed cabinetry to multi-functional furniture, while layouts are arranged to maximise usability, including generous dining areas and adaptable second bedrooms suited to home working or guests.
Rob Burton, Co-founder at Dapa Atelier, comments: “Our starting point for Argenta was thinking about how people actually live in their first home, rather than just how a space looks. It’s easy for show homes to feel over-styled, but we wanted these interiors to feel achievable – somewhere you could realistically move into and make your own.
“For first-time buyers in particular, it’s about creating a balance. You want a space to feel considered and elevated, but it also needs to work day-to-day. That’s where things like layered textures, multi-use furniture and well-integrated storage come in. They allow a home to feel both designed and liveable.
“We also focused on giving each space a clear identity without overwhelming it. You don’t need to do everything at once. A few well-chosen materials or statement pieces can completely shape how a home feels. That’s something we’ll be exploring in the webinar, helping buyers understand how to approach their own space with confidence.”
Hellyn Fairbrother, London and South East Sales Manager at Guinness Homes, adds: “We know that for many first-time buyers, knowing where to start with interiors can feel overwhelming. This webinar is designed to give people practical, accessible advice while also showcasing the quality and design thinking behind our homes at Argenta. Working with Dapa Atelier, we’ve created spaces that not only look beautiful, but genuinely reflect how people want to live.”
