HALLOWEEN AFTERNOON TEA AND LATE-NIGHT GHOST TOURS TO TAKE PLACE AT THEATRE ROYAL DRURY LANE

One of the world’s most haunted theatres, Theatre Royal Drury Lane is introducing a special edition Halloween Afternoon Tea and unveils a series of late-night Halloween Theatre Tours this October, to take guests on a ghostly tour of theatrical history throughout this iconic London landmark.

The Theatre Royal Drury Lane Halloween Tour is the ultimate spooky experience, which unearths hidden tales, scandal, conspiracy and ghost stories in the heart of London’s Covent Garden. While on the tour, there may even be a sighting of the theatre’s most famous ghost, The Man in Grey…

The late-night after-hours Theatre Tour will start at 9.15pm with a special Halloween cocktail served in the Cecil Beaton Bar and will last for one hour. The tours are available to book from 13th – 31st October and priced at £30.

Get into the spooky spirit with The Lane’s brand-new Halloween Afternoon Tea which includes a generous array of savoury bites by The Lane chefs and sweet treats by London based baker, Lily Vanilli. The special Halloween edition features her signature pillow-soft vanilla and passionfruit sponge with gingerbread tombstone, edible soil and ghostly graveyard-vine piping. Mini spooky sticky toffee pudding filled with a custard centre, drizzled in salted caramel is topped with a spooky eye, followed by a delicious strawberry ice cream sandwich and warm fruit scones.

The savoury items on the menu include a bitesize English crumpet topped with Earl Grey infused cream cheese and John Ross Jnr smoked salmon; a savoury madeleine with whipped English feta and pickled heritage carrot; and a Coronation chicken pie with caramelised onion chutney. All served in the opulent surroundings of The Lane’s Grand Saloon.
Priced at £59 per person. Halloween Afternoon Tea is available from 16th- 31st October.
