HENDRICK’S GIN UNCOVERS AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE AT HARVEY NICHOLS ODDLY TIMED TO COINCIDE WITH THE ARRIVAL OF ORBIUM
In a discovery that is sure to baffle astrophysicists and scientists across the globe, Hendrick’s has
announced its intention to uncover an alternate universe at Harvey Nichols and open it up for public
exploration.
These ambitious plans are oddly timed to coincide with the arrival of Hendrick’s newest taste expression, Orbium, at Harvey Nichols stores and online nationally. Through these fine purveyors of style and class, Orbium will soon be available for the first time since its launch in 2017 to
discerning souls across the nation.
For one to truly comprehend the essence of Orbium, this peculiar elixir is best studied in an otherworldly environment. It is for this reason that Hendrick’s has endeavored to invite the bravest of explorers to Step into the World of Orbium with Hendrick’s Gin: a two-week immersive sensory excursion at Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge.
From the 16th – 30th of October, guests will be transported into a Hendrick’s world of warped proportions and earthly delights and invited into the Orbium universe,
unlocked behind a secret door.
By passing through foliage and fog in the Tunnel of Transition, travelers will find themselves in a space reclaimed by nature, at its heart the Tree of Life, where the
story of Orbium will unfold.
To make the journey less perilous, a passport will guide explorers through the experience which can also be used to claim £15 off a bottle of Orbium or an exclusive Orbium
drink at the Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Bar.
Bompas & Parr and Hendrick’s will also offer one curious
individual an extravagant Orbium themed banquet in their own home. As a reimagining of Hendrick’s, Orbium is instilled with extracts of Quinine, Wormwood and the
mysterious Blue Lotus Blossom, and has an oddly exquisite flavour that sits roundly on the palate; it is
how one might imagine Hendrick’s to taste in an alternate universe.
An expansion of the Hendrick’s taste spectrum, Orbium was born from natural inquisitiveness possessed by its Master Distiller, Lesley Gracie. The result is an unfamiliar taste that is rather familiar in character, designed to open previously unexplored dimensions of gin as it spirals from floral into an altogether deeper and alluringly bitter
place.
As such, Hendrick’s is pleased to report that – through its own assessment – the world has become an
altogether more unusual place (not to mention more delicious).
Orbium will be available at Harvey Nichols bars nationally and for purchase for £47. Tickets for this truly exciting Orbium expedition can be reserved for £15 from
