HERA, the luxury Greek restaurant and bar which recently opened in Stratford London, is launching an extravagant new monthly event: The Greek Carnival. The first celebration will take place on Friday, 28 February.
Prepare for a night of Greek indulgence featuring Greek goddess themed dancers, a live band, and a complimentary bespoke cocktail on arrival – exclusively for guests with a dining reservation. An evening truly fit for the Olympian gods!
All diners with reservations will be able to enjoy the Greek entertainment free of charge alongside their meal.
HERA’s a la carte menu is designed to take diners on an odyssey of flavours where vegetables, meat and seafood all contribute to create a varied and enticing selection of dishes designed to share.
Starters include fresh fried courgette with tzatziki yogurt and Seabass Carpaccio with yuzu lemon dressing, dill oil and radish; Roasted Beetroots with Manouri soft cheese and herbs; and quickly becoming a HERA signature is the Feta Saganaki – Feta Cheese, wrapped in angel hair and drizzled with lemon honey.
The Mediterranean section offers a range of classics evocative of a coastal restaurant in Greece. Moussaka with layers of aubergine, potato, mushroom ragu, bechamel sauce and graviera is sure to satisfy those longing after a holiday, while the Sea Food Orzo Pasta with calamari, prawns, clams and tomato sauce will perfectly hit that ocean craving.
