Home-buying help: The London Home Show returns this spring

A must-attend event for aspiring homebuyers, the London Home Show will return to the QEII Centre, Westminster, on Saturday 26th April. Hosted by Share to Buy, the country’s leading online portal for affordable homeownership, the London Home Show has attracted over 73,000 hopeful buyers since it began in 2013.

The free-to-attend exhibition continues to provide attendees with unparalleled access to essential information about home-buying schemes such as Shared Ownership, London Living Rent, Rent to Buy, Discount Full Ownership and more. Over 30 exhibitors will be in attendance, including some of the industry’s leading names and providers of first time buyer developments, with Abri Homes, L&Q, Peabody New Homes, NHG Homes, Guinness Homes, Legal & General Affordable Homes, SO Resi, Southern Housing New Homes, Aster Sales, SiteSales, Square Roots, Places for People, Sovereign Network Group sponsoring the event. Tembo, a multi-award winning mortgage broker and savings platform, will also be sponsoring for the first time this spring.

During the day, guests will be able to explore hundreds of new homes spanning different budgets and life stages, making it the ideal event for renters, first time buyers and home movers. Offering the opportunity to meet face-to-face with property experts, mortgage brokers, and solicitors, attendees can receive tailored financial and legal advice, plus free one-on-one mortgage appointments. What’s more, exclusive giveaways, merchandise and special deals available only at the event will be on offer to those who attend.

The London Home Show will run a programme of live sessions throughout the day across three key categories – Homeownership, Financial and Legal. Following a popular debut session at the autumn 2024 home show, Share to Buy’s own Head of Brand and Content, Jade Turnstill, will deliver a “Home-buying hacks: Must-ask questions for budding buyers” session – a transparent, informative talk on approaching the property ladder in today’s tricky market. Other highlights will include Ask the Experts: Shared Ownership Q&As and the popular affordability sessions hosted by independent mortgage broker, Censeo Financial, offering expert insight into the mortgage process.

Jade Turnstill comments: “The London Home Show is a vital resource for anyone looking to navigate the challenges of stepping onto the property ladder. Year after year, the event’s strong attendance highlights the importance of providing clear, unbiased information to prospective buyers. It’s a real joy to see the London Home Show continue to grow and meet the needs of such a diverse audience – from young couples and single buyers to families with children and downsizers. There are homeownership solutions to suit everyone.”

“We’re in the 12th year of the London Home Show, but we’re also working behind the scenes on regional shows in both the South West and North West of England. Our commitment remains the same – to support aspiring buyers by providing honest, unbiased guidance, giving them the knowledge needed to make confident decisions about their home-buying journey.”
