HUŎ to open second site in Belsize Village this summer

In July 2025 Chelsea favourite HUŎ will open their next site in London’s leafy Belsize Village. Having first opened on Park Walk in 2021, HUŎ fast became an SW10 favourite with restaurateurs, Graham Rebak and Adam Wilkie looking forward to bringing their clean, fresh and healthy Asian food to NW3.

Known for its chic interiors and accessible menu, HUŎ Belsize Village will stay true to its Chelsea heritage & sister restaurants ULI in Notting Hill & Marylebone. Head Chef Yam Gurung has curated a menu which encompasses carefully selected dishes from around China and Southeast Asia, with an emphasis on using the freshest and healthiest ingredients, all cooked from scratch using traditional Chinese, Thai, Malaysian and Singaporean recipes. All dishes are ideal for sharing, making conviviality central to the HUŎ experience. If dining at home is a preferred option, HUŎ are proud to deliver within a one mile radius of the restaurant.

A mix of snacks and small plates to start include: Thai Lobster Crackers, Soft Shell Crab, Handmade Dim Sum and varying soups covering beloved classics such as Wonton and Tom Yum. For mains seafood heroes include Thai Sea Bass Fillet steamed with Chilli and Lemongrass and Triple Cooked Dover Sole with Asparagus, Garlic and Chilli as well as carnivorous classics such as Crispy Shredded Chilli Beef and Spice Minced Pork with Green Beans. Alternatively refreshing salads are in abundance such as Duck with Watermelon and Cashew Nuts and Miso Aubergine, Noodle and Cucumber. Meanwhile, for those feeling they can handle their spice, Szechuan Chilli Prawns will be sure to fit the bill. An array of vegetables, rice and noodles provide perfect sides and of course a sweet finish is always recommended especially in the form of HUŎ’s signature Toffee Banana Fritter.

HUŎ’s design has been created with the RIBA London award winning, Jonathan Clark Architects. Known for their collaborative approach and intelligent designs, they have worked closely with Graham and Adam to deliver a space that is both spacious and intimate. In keeping with HUŎ’s clean menu and comfortable ambience, the natural colour palate inherent in Chelsea, Notting Hill & Marylebone will once again be reimagined in Belsize Village.

The defining feature of the space is a whitewashed wood lattice structure that encloses the walls and ceiling. This structure is further animated with front-lit coloured infill panels in carefully selected earthy tones. Lime Washed flooring and chairs will be interjected with vibrantly upholstered curved banquettes positioned throughout the restaurant. Ratan lighting in the form of ceiling and side lights will combine with an abundance of natural light thanks to the restaurant’s window lined frontage. HUŎ will also champion a curation of Asian artists whose pieces will be peppered across walls and take the diner on a visual journey without having to leave their table.

Divided into three areas, the first is the dedicated bar area. Here, a wall lined bar clad in whitewashed wood and fringed with high seating for up to eight guests, provides the perfect spot to enjoy one of HUŎ’s signature Asian inspired cocktail including lychee martinis and Asian negronis or, indulge in a selection of their carefully curated Japanese whiskies, sake’s or on-tap beers. Alternatively, take a seat at any of the four booths located opposite the bar. The back of the restaurant houses the main dining room and offers seating for up to 86 guests and the private dining room located downstairs can seat up to 18 guests, complete with its own bar it is an ideal location for private celebrations, of any sort. The outside terrace is also not to be overlooked, with seating for up to 16 guests, it’s an ideal spot to chase the evening sunshine, and indeed the daytime rays too.

A restaurant with comfort, taste and community at its core, HUŎ is a place for everyone where a flexible menu complete with a dedicated bar area and private dining room means all occasions are covered.
