Christopher Biggins has joked that he snorts after having a heart valve replaced with one from a pig, as he expressed sympathy for Jeremy Clarkson following his health woes.

His comments came after the release of a trailer for the next series of Clarkson’s Farm in which Jeremy talks about a life-saving heart operation.

Biggins said on GB News: “I take my hat off to him, because he’s great to show that.

“I’ve had a new valve put in, and I didn’t tell my partner because, of course, your heart comes out and stands there, and it is a really serious operation.

“But I didn’t want him to know that it was that serious, because one hoped that I was going to get through it, and I did.

“It is fantastic what they can do now, especially in the National Health Service, it is wonderful.

“I just said I was going to have a stent, but it was well, I just..I think it’s a terrible worry for people and partners and family.

“It was fantastic, unbelievable. I’ve got a pig’s valve, so if I start snorting, you’ll know why.

“I have no problem, apart from snorting.

“The National Health Service is sensational, it is brilliant, it does so many good things.”
