Idina Menzel and Todrick Hall to Perform at Pride In London
Today, Pride in London is unveiling the fabulous artist lineup across its stages, with Tony-Award winning Broadway icon, actress, and singer Idina Menzel, and YouTube icon Todrick Hall announced to perform. Grammy-nominated international superstar Adam Lambert will be headlining, performing his new single ‘You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)’ recorded in collaboration with Sigala – the official song for Pride in London.
Pride in London returns on Saturday 1st July for its 51st year, with a stellar line-up of artists performing across four stages around Central London. Multi-award winning Menzel and legendary entertainer Hall will perform on the Trafalgar Square stage. Menzel will perform new music from her upcoming album, Drama Queen.
The four stages in Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Golden Square and Dean Street will play host to over 100 performers including icons from the LGBT+ community. As in previous years, Leicester Square’s stage is a dedicated stage for artists identifying as LGBTQI+ women and non-binary, whilst Golden Square is a dedicated stage for artists from the Global Majority.
New for this year is a fifth stage, on the iconic Soho Square, a dedicated space and stage for artists from the trans community. Artists who will be performing on the dedicated trans stage curated by Mzz Kimberley include Satch, Adele Anderson, Felix Mufti, and Alexa Vox.
Other performers across the stages on Pride day include star of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Victoria Scone, winner of BBC’s Project Icon, Dylan and the Moon, Louis III, Stars, the West End cast of SIX the Musical, Jordan Gray, Bourgeois & Maurice, DJ Krystal Lake, MC Chicaboo & Unorthodox, Eloise Viola, as well as this year’s Pride’s Got Talent winners and previous finalists Janethan and Kings Elliott. Pride in London is proud to welcome United Airlines as its headline sponsor.
Never March Alone
This year marks the 51st anniversary since the very first Pride march and will demonstrate allyship with the trans and non-binary community as they face increased adversity from media and through recent political developments, including the blocking of Scotland’s Gender Recognition Reform Bill.
The 2023 campaign seeks to show this is a joyful community of brilliant, multi-faceted individuals who have the full support of Pride in London and its 1.5 million attendees. The work was developed with a group of trans advocates including Mzz Kimberley, Hannah and Jake Graf and Dani St. James to help highlight the importance, vitality and unwavering spirit of our trans and non-binary siblings.
