Steak restaurant, KöD which originates in Denmark and has London outposts in both St Anne’s Court, Soho and Devonshire Square in the City, will relaunch its Sunday menu 11th May, introducing a convivial Sunday feasting selection.

At £27 per person, KöD’s Sunday Feast includes 200g of carefully sourced grass fed UK rump, dry aged for a minimum of 35 days, consistent with the restaurant’s commitment to serving nothing but high welfare beef.

The full Sunday Feast menu also features KöD’s buffalo wings and a generous spread of indulgent sides including traditional Danish favourite, ‘Burning love’: mashed potatoes with smoked bacon & onion compote sautéed in wagyu fat & butter and lots more. The Sunday feast menu is topped off with Madagascan pepper sauce and served family style for the table to share.

In other news, KöD City in Devonshire Square’s terrace is now open; here a glass roof protects from the elements making it a top all weather al fresco spot. From 5 to 7pm, KöD’s ‘Bites & Beers’ menu is £15 for a Tuborg Danish Lager or glass of house wine alongside either three Sliders, Tri-Tip tacos, Chicken wings or Corn ribs. For those ready to settle in, top quality steak such as a KöD’s 35-day dry aged Hereford and Longhorn Tomahawk from the West Coast of Scotland is perfect for sharing.

As its name, which means meat in Danish, suggests, KöD’s Soho and City menu centre around top quality, perfectly cooked steaks such as English, grass-fed, Hereford & Angus ribeye, aged in Himalayan salt and minimum 35-day aged Scottish striploin served with a choice of sauces from chimichurri to KöD’s signature port glaze.

The lunchtime ‘BØF Sandwich’ is Denmark’s burger come steak sandwich which, as tradition dictates, is doused in a tasty gravy at the table and served with traditional Danish remoulade as well as homemade pickles, three onion variations, mustard and ketchup. The ultimate antidote to a limp lunchtime salad at just £19.50.
Highlights on the side menu include the aforementioned classic Danish dish Burning love: mashed potatoes with smoked bacon & onion compote sautéed in wagyu fat & butter, Roasted Chantenay carrots with garlic yoghurt, creamy feta cheese & dill and Grilled hispi cabbage with smoked chive emulsion & fresh chives.
