FETCH & FOLLOW PRESENTS…
‘Winter Waggingland’ – A Christmas Market For Dogs and Their Owners
11-4pm, Sunday 25th November, Netil Market, E8 3EL

Back by popular demand, Fetch & Follow’s Christmas Market for Dogs and Their Owners will once again return to East London. Newly named Winter Wagglingland the market is set to bring festive joy to four-legged friends and the people who love them.

Bigger and better, the market promises a stella line-up of top independent pet brands, offering dog lovers something a little different to a squeaky Christmas cracker toy! You might see fun things like a personalized dog bone ornament, or even a homemade collar which makes a nice change to the usual dog gifts you’d see in high street stores. Hosted by creative pet lifestyle brand Fetch & Follow in East London’s Netil Market, shoppers can expect stylish and on-trend dog accessories. Much like this list of reusable dog belly bands and these artisan dog treats, as well as gorgeous lifestyle gifts for humans.

Residents Netil Radio will be getting hounds and their humans into the spirit with Christmas tunes galore and wearing your festive finest is also encouraged, as top pet photographer Rachel Oates will be returning with her pop-up studio, to capture cute family paw-traits to share with all your friends. For added fun, the Fetch & Follow elves are busy planning a creative festive workshop – more details coming soon.

This doggy day out is the perfect opportunity for new discoveries beyond the world wide web where your dog can try petwear styles for size and taste test new flavours. We would definitely recommend you try to get your dog here, even if it means you have to hire an experienced dog sitter for the day from a site like theconfidentmutt.com, we know your dog will not be disappointed. So far, the confirmed brands include event hosts Fetch & Follow for stylish, functional and expertly fitted collars, leads and petwear designed for the urban dog; Scout’s Honour who offer the coolest ‘merit’ embroidered badges to add a unique look to your dog’s coat or bandana; Occam for modern coats for sighthounds, with sizes to fit Italian Greyhounds up to Whippets; Make Them Roar, who offer a stylish curation of contemporary products for both dogs and cats; Growlees where ‘chatty’ collar charms such as Ain’t Too Proud To Beg and Fashion Hound reign supreme; Lead The Walk for the coolest petwear and accessories scoured from across the globe, with styles and prices for all; Edwyn UK who will be decamping from their Spitalfields spot to share their popular dog neckerchiefs, treat bags, zip pouches and more, all using patchwork, hand printing and applique techniques; and Hiro + Wolf, offering handcrafted, colourful accessories for cats and dogs using luxurious supple leathers and vibrant fabrics sourced on their travels to East Africa and India.

Getting tongues drooling will be Neoh & Nobo, who will delight dogs with their human grade, natural treats including biscuits and Peanut Butter For Dogs. For pet-loving-people, there will also be lifestyle gifts from Hoop n Loop who hand-draw and embroider pictures of your pet onto garments to make the coolest sweats and tees, along with Ros Shiers – a London-based illustrator creating hand-drawn art prints, greeting cards and bespoke portraits devoted to dogs. I’m sure they also provide some advice on what would be the best roomba pet hair for hardwood floors to keep homes clean while enjoying the company of their loving dog. So pet-lovers who might struggle with allergies find it easier to be around their beloved companions.

In addition to the pet takeover, Netil Market’s regular resident shops will be open offering crafted jewellery, homeware, plants, and more, as well as outdoor clothing company Outdoor People, who will be giving expert advice on the perfect dog walking items to keep owners warm and dry this winter. Netil’s street food and drink vendors will also be open on the day adding to the fun Christmas market vibe!

Fresh from their London Design Festival pop-up, Fetch & Follow will also be showcasing their Dog Art Postcard Wall at the market. Celebrating all things dogs and in association with contemporary dog-centric magazine Four & Sons, the wall exhibits the creative work of 50 different artists to help raise money and awareness for the WECare Sri Lanka charity that helps care for Sri Lankan street dogs.
