Diane Neal has said huge numbers of Jewish people are leaving the UK for Israel because they have no confidence in government protections.
Speaking from a safe room in Israel, she told GB News: “I don’t understand what Britain’s been doing at all in the last few years. Most people in Israel don’t. We were getting a lot of people using the right of return, who come and get their citizenship.”
“We have a huge percentage of people coming in from England, because they don’t feel safe there and they’re not particularly fond of the government. And even if they were fond of the government, they don’t have much faith that the government will be able to protect them.”

On international criticism of Sir Kier Starmer’s reaction to the US-Israeli operation in Iran, she said: “Wow. The disappointment, even from the international community for the entire time he’s been in office, is pretty shocking to me when you think back to the Churchillian years. Those were obviously epic.”
“There are so many things that I never thought I would say before becoming an Israeli several years ago, being an American before and now. One of them is how unbelievably proud I would be of Bibi Netanyahu.”
“People have such a fundamental misunderstanding of the situation here in Israel. One of the interesting things is it didn’t start this weekend. It didn’t start now. It didn’t start even two months ago with the protests. It started 47 years ago, specifically with the Ayatollah and the regime change in Iran and even long before that.”
The Jewish holiday of Purim begins on Monday 2 March. Ms Neal said: “It’s prudent that this is happening on the eve of a holiday that celebrates getting released from Persian or Iranian captivity 2300 years ago.”
“We’ve been really fortunate and we’re very proud of what Netanyahu is doing. That’s it for Hamas, which is funded and supplied by the Iranian regime and the Ayatollah. No more funding, no more anything.”
“This is going to be freedom for the Lebanese people. We’ve been trying to get Hezbollah out of office. Same for the Yemenites. The Houthis have taken over everything in that country, and they are funded by the Iranian regime. Aside from being the largest state sponsor of terror, they’ve been they’ve been coming against British the Americans, everyone.”
On Iranian bombings of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, she said: “None of us can believe it. Theoretically, they’re thinking, we’re going to hit the US bases. Countries where these are based, will say, get out America. We don’t want you here. You can’t use our bases to fly out of. Instead, they have the exact opposite effect.”
“There was an amazing letter that came out of Saudi Arabia earlier that condemned all the Iranian acts and offered the full force of their military behind Israel, Bibi, the United States and Trump. These are things that we never would have thought were possible before.”
“Iran is a very definitive threat in so many different ways for Israel. In a nuclear way, they’re always very, very close to enrichment. They’ve been waiting and biting their time so they can rebuild stocks.”
