IT provider wins two categories in Best Companies awards

Managed IT services provider OryxAlign has secured two coveted top-five wins in the Best Companies Q1 2023 awards. It won second place in the Best Mid-Sized Company to Work For in London, and third place in the Best Business Services Company to Work For in the UK.

OryxAlign, which provides IT support, infrastructure management and cybersecurity services, was recognised for excelling in three key areas: giving something back, wellbeing and personal growth.

The award survey results showed that: 89 per cent of staff agreed with the statement ‘My organisation encourages charitable activities,’ 80 per cent agreed that ‘I am happy with the balance between my work and home life,’ and 97 per cent agreed that ‘The experience I gain from this job is valuable for my future.’

“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again; our people are our greatest asset – always have been, and always will be. To have been awarded a 2-star accreditation by Best Companies is a clear demonstration of our commitment to our people and, importantly, their commitment to OryxAlign,” said Carl Henriksen, CEO of OryxAlign. “Delivering tech services in what is a demanding industry is not easy, but standing by our people, ensuring they are supported, fulfilled, happy and enjoying the journey is key for me. I am very proud indeed of this collective achievement.”

The awards also recognised the company’s focus on sustainability. It has begun its journey to achieving B-Corp certification. Last year it introduced its Carbon Reduction Plan, which is aligned with the 2050 Paris Agreement on climate change, and has robust environmental, ethical trading and sustainability policies.

Established in 2006, OryxAlign currently has 100 UK employees. The company has locations in London, Manchester, Cork and Manila. At least 40 per cent of senior managers at OryxAlign are women and it was a finalist yet again in the 2022 CRN Women in Channel Awards.

The company is currently hiring for a variety of roles, including network engineers, and service desk staff. To find out more about these and other vacancies, visit www.oryxalign.com/careers
